Lead DevOps & Data Architect

• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and data architecture to support scalable systems and applications.
• Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and DevOps best practices to optimise development workflows and system performance.
• Oversee the management and optimisation of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, product) to ensure efficient integration of data solutions and infrastructure.
• Architect and implement data pipelines, storage solutions, and analytics platforms to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure security best practices are adhered to in deployment and infrastructure management.
• Optimise system scalability, performance, and reliability across development, staging, and production environments.
• Mentor and guide junior DevOps and data engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Track and analyse system performance, implementing optimisations for continuous improvement and higher efficiency.
• Stay updated on the latest DevOps tools, data technologies, and best practices to keep systems and processes ahead of the curve.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, data architecture, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
• Proficiency in data architecture, including database management, ETL processes, and analytics solutions.
• Strong experience in programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• In-depth understanding of security practices in cloud and data environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
